Inception
Inception is a movie with a plot so complicated you'll probably need to see it twice. The good news is, you'll want to.
Described by some as a thinking man's The Matrix, Inception is in fact more of a high-concept heist movie than an action one. It does have its share of action, mind you, and at times the pace is nearly breathless. The special effects are spectacular at times but aren't the focal point, which is refreshing in a Hollywood offering.
One interesting side note is that the movie's plot is so complicated, it has given rise to a cottage industry of people mapping out diagrams to make sense of it all. Check out these examples:

Given the current buzz, it certainly seems like Inception will have an ongoing cult following, and it's well deserved. Inception is a singular movie, original in concept and execution, and is definitely worth viewing on the big screen.
